What physio practice software really costs

Individual subscription prices are easy to compare and rarely what you end up paying. The number that matters is the total for everything you need to function and provide a great service to your patients. For most individuals and small clinics, that means a sum of two or three subscriptions, minimum.

Every figure below comes from the provider’s own public pricing page, checked on the date shown against each one. Prices published in US dollars are shown as an approximate pound figure with the published price in brackets, converted at $1 = £0.74 on 7 September 2026.

Every product here does this. It is the baseline, not the differentiator.

A real library with video, ideally 3D, and a way for patients to open it

Not offered by any practice management product we know of. A separate company, a separate bill, and priced by how busy you are.

WhatsApp and social messages somewhere other than your personal phone

Usually your own mobile, which is why it feels free until it is not.

Nobody buys practice management software and then does without exercise prescription, and nobody stops the phone ringing. They buy both and pay for the third. That is the comparison worth making, and it is the one headline prices hide.

Call answering is the figure to watch, because it is the one that moves with how busy you are. The £49 above is a published entry price with no stated call allowance, so treat it as a floor. The one UK provider we found publishing a per-call rate charges £30 a month including 50 calls, then 85p a call after that: a 500-call month works out at about £413. Movari does not meter calls at all.

  • Jane Payments charges 1.5% + 20p online in the UK, with no separate platform fee on top.
  • The £29 Balance plan is capped at 20 appointments a month, so it is not a like-for-like comparison with an unlimited plan.
  • Thrive is £55/month. Additional practitioners cost extra on both.
  • Add-ons priced separately, including AI Scribe at £15/practitioner/month.
  • No free trial; demo accounts only.

  • Cliniko takes no cut of online payments. You pay the processor directly.
  • Priced in US dollars even for UK practices.
  • Jumps to $95/month for 2–5 practitioners, so a 2-person clinic pays the same as a 5-person one.
  • SMS charged separately at 10¢ per message.
  • 30-day free trial, which is the most generous here.

  • Three published tiers: Good at £39, Better at £55, Best at £70, all per user per month.
  • Exercise is an integration with a separate product rather than something included, so the exercise subscription is usually still on the bill.
  • SMS is a paid add-on, and the Integration hub is £30 on the Better tier. No card-payment rate is published.
  • No free trial is published on the pricing page.

  • Publishes no prices. All three plans ask you to request a quote, so the only way to find out what you would pay is to talk to someone.

Face For Business From £49 Taster plan / month, checked 7 September 2026
  • A call answering service, not software. Included here because the phone is the fourth thing a practice runs on, and no practice management product covers it.
  • Calls are answered by people, which is the thing it does better than any software. Published as a "from" price with no call allowance stated, so what you actually pay depends on your volume.
  • You get a message, not a transcript. There is no recording-to-text and no written summary of the call on any published plan, which is the part Movari includes.
  • Inclusive Minutes is from £115/month and Message Only from £99/month. No setup fees, billed by the second, 7-day trial.
